The Digit Zero 1 Awards recognizes and awards the best performing products of the year
Products are evaluated on basis of objective and scientific test process, followed by Digit reviewers at the test center in Noida and Mumbai
This year, Digit has announced winners across 33 gadget categories.
For nearly 2 decades Digit has been testing gadgets and ensuring each device goes through a rigours test process to identify the best from the rest. This testing process not only helps us determine the best from the rest but also helps you, the reader, to know what to look for when purchasing a product. With the Digit Zero 1 Awards, we want to not only honour the products that deserve the recognition for being the best in their class but also recognize the research and development and innovation that each brand has put into the product. Some of the products we considered were launched at the beginning of the year and some as late as November 2020.
For each category of products that we cover, Digit aims to scientifically come to the conclusion of each product’s performance to eliminate any personal bias. This isn't a personal opinion about a product, it is about its performance. The test process is the same that we undertake with our reviews throughout the year, with the biggest difference being that performance gets to be front and centre and design and features take a back seat. So, if you've ever asked the question, “What’s the best performing smartphone in India?”, you need to check out our Zero1 Award winner because that’s the only place you will get this answer!

About Digit Zero 1 Awards
With a legacy of 20 years, the Digit Zero 1 Awards is recognized as the Industry’s only performance-based awards. Digit rewards brands for putting in years of research in developing and introducing performance-driven products for their audience. All products are made to pass through a rigorous and scientific test process and compete with competitor brands in the same category. The Winner in each category is announced on the basis of their total score, post complete performance analysis done across an average of 56 tests, conducted for every category, across key performance parameters. The test process for the Zero1 Awards does not consider scores for features, price or design. The aim is to identify the very best products that money can buy, celebrate the innovations that push the industry forward, and reward the products that dare to disrupt the market.
