OnePlus 16R

The OnePlus 16R has not been officially announced, and everything known about it so far comes from tipsters and pre-launch reports. According to reports and speculations, OnePlus is planning to launch the 16R in India in December 2026 or January 2027, and the standard OnePlus 16 may follow it to the Indian market. The OnePlus 16 itself is confirmed to debut in China on October 12, 2026, but OnePlus has not confirmed an India launch for either phone. This page will be updated once OnePlus makes an official announcement. Leaks suggest the OnePlus 16R will be a major step up from the OnePlus 15R. It is reportedly powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, last year's flagship chipset, and is rumoured to share its specifications with the OnePlus Ace 7, a phone expected in China. The reported display is a 6.78-inch flat 1.5K OLED with a refresh rate of up to 185Hz, with some tipped extras including Dolby Vision and HDR10+ support. The camera setup is tipped to include a 200MP main sensor and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom, a feature the OnePlus 15R lacked, plus a 16MP front camera. A 9,000mAh battery with 100W wired charging is also reported, compared with the 7,400mAh cell on the OnePlus 15R.

Disclaimer: The OnePlus 16R has not been announced by OnePlus, and no specification, price, or date on this page is confirmed. The ₹70,000 to ₹75,000 range comes from a single tipster, and other listings show different guesses, such as ₹69,999 on one aggregator and ₹54,999 on an older listing, so the true price is unknown. For context, the OnePlus 15R launched in India at ₹47,999 and now sells for ₹59,999 after multiple price hikes. Some reports link the expected increase to the ongoing memory chip shortage. This page will be updated once OnePlus confirms details.
