Samsung launches Galaxy A50, Galaxy A20 and Galaxy A10e in the US.

The Galaxy A50 and the Galaxy A20 are already available in India.

After unveiling them in India, Samsung has now launched its A-Series phones in the US as well. The South Korean giant introduced the Galaxy A50, the Galaxy A20 and the Galaxy A10e in the North American country. The first two are available at various online channels in India, however, the third phone, Galaxy A10e, is yet to see the light of the day in the country. Samsung hasn’t revealed information about the processors powering these devices yet.

Samsung says that the Galaxy A50 will be available at a price of $349.99 (approx Rs 24,000) starting June 13. The Galaxy A20 will be available starting at $249.99 (approx Rs 17,000) and the Galaxy A10e will be available starting at $179.99 (approx Rs 12,400). The company hasn’t specified the date of availability of the Galaxy A20 and the Galaxy A10e but it is likely that these phones will also be available from June 13.

“Drawing on more than 10 years of Galaxy smartphone innovation, the new Galaxy A Series offers consumers premium essentials at a great value. And with a full portfolio of products, there’s an A Series that’s right for anyone,” Travis Warren, who is the Senior Vice President of Carrier Sales and Operations at Samsung Electronics America, said in a statement.

Samsung Galaxy A50 specifications:

The Galaxy A50 sports a 6.4-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display. It delivers a 19.5:9 aspect ratio due to the presence of the Infinity-U display, that is, a u-shaped waterdrop notch on the screen. In India, the phone is powered by an Octa-core Exynos 9610 mobile platform. Samsung hasn’t revealed what SoC it is using in the US variant. Unlike in India, where the device was launched in two variants, the Galaxy A50 is available in just a single 4GB RAM variant in the US.

When it comes to optics, the smartphone features a triple camera setup on the back. The primary camera has a 25MP sensor with a lens having f/1.7 aperture, the second is a 5MP depth sensing camera and the third is an 8MP sensor with an ultra-wide fixed focus lens. On the front, the device has a 25MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture lens. A 4000mAh battery powers the entire package, and it supports 15W fast charging.

Samsung Galaxy A20 specifications:

The Galaxy A20 is a mid-range smartphone that sports a 6.4-inch HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-V display. The Indian version is powered by an Exynos 7884 Octa-core SoC with 3GB RAM. The device offers 64GB of onboard storage that can be expanded by up to 512GB via a microSD card. Samsung hasn’t revealed the processor, RAM and storage information about the US variants. The Samsung Galaxy A20 sports a dual-rear camera setup with a 13MP + 5MP configuration.The 5MP sensor features an ultra-wide lens. To click selfies, the phone uses an 8MP unit. It packs a 4000mAh battery and offers 15W fast charging with USB Type-C connectivity.

Samsung Galaxy A10e specifications:

The Galaxy A10e is the one phone that hasn’t launched in India. According to the information available on the company’s website, the phone features a 5.83-inch Infinity-V display. It sports an 8MP rear camera, a 3000mAh battery to keep the lights on, and 32GB of storage. That’s all Samsung has revealed till now. In the past, the phone visited Geekbench website with an Exynos 7884 mobile processor and 2GB of RAM.
