At the Mobile World Congress 2019, Samsung has announced the launch of the A50 and A30 smartphones. The A50 and the A30 are a part of Samsung’s new A series smartphones. Both the phones feature some similar specifications including a 4000mAh battery, Infinity-U 6.4-inch FHD+ display. Both the smartphones have the same dimensions as well. Where they differ is in the processor and RAM setup along with the number of rear cameras on each smartphone. Let's break down the specifications of the two devices.
The Samsung Galaxy A30 has a 3D glass design, and will be available in Black, White, and Blue colour options. It has a 6.4-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED 19.5:9 display. The smartphone measures 7.7 mm in thickness. Under the hood, it has the Exynos 7904 SoC with 2 x Arm Cortex-A73 cores @ 1.8GHz + 6x Arm Cortex-A53 cores 1.6GHz . The device will be available in two variants: 3GB RAM + 32GB storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB storage. The storage is expandable upto 512GB via a microSD card. The smartphone has a rear mounted fingerprint sensor and a dual-rear camera setup. The primary camera is a 16MP unit with a f/1.7 aperture and the other is a 5MP, f/2.2, ultra wide camera. On the front the device is a 16MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture and fixed focus. A 4000mAh battery powers the entire package along with 15W fast charging support.

The device will be available in two variants: 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage. The storage is expandable upto 512GB via a microSD card. Unlike its sibling, the A50 has an on-screen fingerprint sensor. On the back, it has a triple camera setup. The primary camera is a 25MP one wirth a f/1.7 aperture, the second is a 5MP camera with an f/2.2 aperture for depth sensing, and the third is a 8MP f/2.4 aperture ultra-wide fixed focus camera. On the front the device has a 25MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture and fixed focus. A 4000mAh battery powers the entire package along with 15W fast charging support.
