The Moto G Max was launched in India on August 14, 2026, going on sale from August 20. It is Motorola's second "Max" smartphone in the country, following the Motorola Edge 70 Max just weeks earlier, and marks a new sub-line within the G series built around long-term OS updates and stronger performance rather than just battery size. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chipset, built on a 4nm process, paired with 6GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
The Moto G Max features a 6.72-inch Full HD+ LCD display with a 1080x2400 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate and touch sampling rate, up to 1,050 nits of brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection. It is built around a 7,000mAh battery with 30W TurboPower wired charging. Motorola's RAM Boost feature can use up to 24GB of storage as virtual RAM on top of the 6GB of physical memory. The phone ships in a single memory configuration and runs Android 16 through Motorola's Hello UI.
