Apple’s new iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus is coming to India on September 29, and the phone is now available pre order in India. The 64GB and 256GB variants of the iPhone 8 are priced at Rs 64,000 and Rs 77,000 respectively. The iPhone 8 Plus 64GB variant is priced at Rs 73,000, while the 256GB version of the phone will be available at Rs 86,000. Flipkart is one of Apple’s Authorised Resellers in the country, and as one can expect, it is offering a few deals for those who choose to pre order it. These include buyback guarantee, no cost EMIs, exchange offers, as well as cashback offers on select bank cards.
Buyback guarantee
Flipkart is also offering users the chance to pay Rs 99 extra, and get a buyback guarantee up to Rs 44,000 of the value of the phone. This can be availed when exchanging the iPhone 15 months later.
No cost EMI
No cost EMI for the 64GB and 256GB versions of the iPhone 8 starts at Rs 5,334 and Rs 6,417 per month respectively. The same for the larger iPhone 8 Plus starts at Rs 6,084 and Rs 7,167 per month for the 64GB and 256GB storage variants.
Exchange offers
Buyers can also avail up to Rs 23,000 off on exchanging their old smartphones. However, when exchanging an old iPhone, consumers will get an extra Rs 3,000 over regular exchange. Further, buyers can get an additional 12 percent off if they are planning to exchange their current smartphone. They can do so by running a test on the device via the Flipkart app.
Discounts and cashback
Those making their payment via a Citi Credit or World Debit Card can get Rs 10,000 as cashback.
Extended Warranty
Besides these, customers can also avail extended warranty with pickup and drop. They can also get seven day repair/replacement guarantee.
Faster delivery
As an added bonus, those who pre-orer the devices before September 26, will get their deliveries by September 30. However, this is only valid for deliveries in Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, or Ahmedabad.
By combining these offers, Flipkart claims that it is possible for users to buy the phone for a net effective cost as low as Rs 6,000 for the iPhone 8 (64GB). You can read about all the offers available here.

The standard iPhone 8 sports a 4.7-inch Retina HD display, while the iPhone 6 Plus sports a larger 5.5-inch Retina HD display. Both support the company’s TrueTone software technology and are powered by the A11 Bionic Hexa core SoC. While the iPhone 8 sports a single 12MP rear camera, the iPhone 8 Plus sports a dual-rear camera setup with two 12MP units.
