Kamlesh loves Arun like a son and reluctantly accepts his marriage to Pooja. On their wedding night, Arun ignores Pooja's illness while Kamlesh, unaware of the situation, celebrates outside.
S1 E2
Pooja shares her traumatic experience with her mother, but she brushes off her worries and urges her to return home. On her way back to her in-laws' house, Pooja decides to escape.
S1 E3
Kamlesh does not believe in the concept of marital rape and ignores Pooja's pleas. However, Kamlesh eventually educates herself on the issue, leading to a shift in her perspective.

Pooja and Kamlesh are waiting for the right moment to approach Bhramar, believing he will support them. In the meantime, Kamlesh admits that she is partly responsible for Arun's behavior.

Kamlesh feels disappointed after Bhramar refuses to take action against Arun. With Vinay's support, she takes Pooja to her grandfather, only to discover there is no legal remedy for marital rape.
