Apple iPhone SE 2020 deal price increased on Flipkart
Could be due to huge demand during Big Billion Days sale

Apple iPhone SE 2020 is up for sale at a discounted price on Flipkart during the Big Billion Days sale but seeing the unprecedented demand for the mid-range phone, the e-commerce platform has increased the deal price of the phone. While the original deal for the iPhone SE 2020 offered it at Rs 25,999 starting midnight on October 16, the price has now been increased by Rs 2,000 and the phone is now selling for Rs 27,999 during the Flipkart’s Big Billion Day sale 2020.
There’s no particular reason for Flipkart to increase the deal price after kicking off its sale, however, it could be due to the unprecedented demand of the iPhone SE 2020 with more buyers looking to grab an iPhone at a discounted price than all other phones in the price segment. At the discounted price, the iPhone SE 2020 goes toe-to-toe with the OnePlus Nord and Google Pixel 4a, to name a few.
The iPhone SE 2020 was available to purchase at a flat 39% off on Flipkart but the deal price has increased to 34% discount with the phone now selling at Rs 27,999. The iPhone SE 2020 also received an official price cut earlier this week alongside the iPhone 11 but Flipkart isn’t taking that into account just yet. It is likely that the company is clearing its inventory of unsold iPhone SE 2020 units as EarPods and charging adapter is provided in the box. Apple has earlier confirmed that the new retail units of iPhone SE 2020 won’t come with a charging adapter or EarPods in the box.
Apple iPhone SE 2020 deal on Flipkart
As we mentioned in our earlier report, the iPhone SE 2020 price was down to Rs 25,999 from Rs 42,500 but the phone is currently available at Rs 27,999. There’s an additional discount for SBI credit and debit cardholders that further brings down the price of the phone. So, if you’re an SBI credit cardholder, the iPhone SE 2020 can be bought at Rs 26,249 while debit cardholders are eligible to buy it at Rs 26,749.
Do note, however, that this isn’t the original deal price as previously under the same offer, Flipkart offered the SE 2020 at Rs 24,249 and Rs 24,749 for credit and debit cardholders respectively.

Apple iPhone SE 2020 specifications
Apple iPhone SE 2020 features a 4.7-inch Retina display with wide bezels on the top and bottom. The screen is protected by a layer of protective coating and the phone is IP67 rated, making it resistant to dust and water ingress.
The phone is powered by the A13 Bionic chipset that also powers the iPhone 11 and comes in 64GB, 128GB and 256GB storage options to choose from. It runs on iOS 13 that is upgradeable to iOS 14. There’s a 12MP primary camera with OIS support that can record 4K UHD videos at upto 60FPS and a 7MP selfie camera on the front.
The iPhone SE 2020 has stereo speakers that make use of those wide bezels and a Touch ID sensor on the front for fast unlock. It is equipped with a 1,821mAh battery with support for 18W fast wired charging and Qi wireless charging as well.
