Android 16 key design features
Android 16 is all about making the user experience feel more fluid and intuitive. One of the standout updates is the introduction of springy, natural animations—so dismissing apps or notifications feels smoother and more dynamic.
To enhance visual depth, Android 16 brings in soft background blurs, especially noticeable in areas like the notification shade. It also improves personalisation with updated colour themes, more responsive components, and emphasised typography that better reflects your style.
Other design upgrades include improved alignment for home screen icons and widgets, and more customisation options in Quick Settings. Plus, a new Live Updates feature that puts real-time info from apps right where you can see it at a glance.
