RCom launches 'Awesome America' roaming pack for its postpaid GSM customers
  • Awesome America is a new international roaming tariff discount pack from RCom for its GSM customers roaming in USA.

Reliance Communications (RCom) has introduced a new international roaming pack for its postpaid GSM customers travelling to the U.S. Called the “Awesome America” pack, the operator is offering discount up to 98 percent on data usage and up to 76 percent on voice calling on roaming. The pack is available for Rs. 849 with validity of 30 days.

The operator says under the new international roaming plan data charges have been reduced to Rs. 10 for 1MB on roaming in the U.S.

“With the launch of the Awesome America Pack, RCOM has added yet another dimension to its offerings for retail customers in this festive season. This is an extremely attractive plan designed to offer significant savings to all GSM postpaid customers on both data usage and voice calls during their stay in America. This exclusive pack will ensure maximum benefits to Reliance customers for all their telecom requirements, without them having to worry about high international roaming charges,” says Nilanjan Mukherjee, Chief Revenue Officer, Reliance Communications Limited in a release.

RCom recently launched a roaming plan for its GSM users travelling to Saudi Arabia. The new plan, called the Super Saudi Pack, is available Rs. 786 and allows Reliance customers to save up to 84 percent on voice calls. The pack also enables Reliance customers to save 98 percent on data usage by paying a charge of only Re. 0.24 per 10 KB while on international roaming.
