The cheapest flagship phone is now available at a cheaper price. Xiaomi is running the Poco Days special sale in which it is selling the Poco F1 at a starting price of Rs 17,999 for the 6GB RAM and 64GB storage variant. The sale is currently underway on Flipkart and Mi.com and it will conclude on June 9. The sale is seen as the company’s move to finish Poco F1 stocks as rumours are rife that the Poco F2 could go official in the coming months.

The Rs 17,999 price tag is for the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage model that was previously available for Rs 19,999. The flat discount of Rs 2000 is only on this variant. Other models are selling at their previous prices. The 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model of the Poco F1 is priced at Rs 20,999 and the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model is available for Rs 27,999 (Rs 28,999 for the Armoured Edition).

Previously it was thought that the Redmi K20 Pro would launch as the Poco F2 in India, but Xiaomi later confirmed that the K20 Pro will retain its name when it launches on June 15 in India. To recall, the Poco F1 (review) was launched in August last year in India. According to IDC, Poco F1 became top selling phone online in Rs 15,000 and above segment in the fourth quarter of 2018.

The Poco F1 sports a 6.18-inch full-HD+ display with a notch that houses a 20MP camera sensor. The phone comes with Liquid Cooling technology to keep the temperatures in check. The photography responsibilities are on dual 12MP + 5MP camera configuration on the back. The handset runs on a special version of MIUI called MIUI for Poco, which is based on Android 9 Pie. the phone is backed by a 4000mAh battery, and it also has Quick Charge 3.0 support.
