Although the feature is not present in the current build, an XDA Developers report says it could come to the device in a future update.

The Oreo beta update is only available for users enrolled in the Open Beta program. As a beta build, it’s expected to be less stable and have more bugs than the regular OTA updates. The update brings picture-in-picture support, smart text selection, notification dots, auto-fill, and more to the OnePlus 5. The smartphone's launcher is also updated with new quick settings and app folder design. It is also updated with the the October 2017 security patch and gets the Parallel Apps feature, similar to the OnePlus 5T.
