Much of the credit for its popularity goes to Jenna Ortega, whose unique and emotionless take on Wednesday has given the character a fresh and modern turn.

Wednesday season 3 release timeline and platform

While the makers have not officially announced a release date yet, reports suggest that Wednesday season 3 could arrive sometime in summer 2027. Like previous seasons, the upcoming chapter will stream exclusively on Netflix.

What to expect in Wednesday season 3

The story is set to continue from where season 2 left off. Several mysteries remain unsolved, and the next season is likely to explore them. One of the central plots could revolve around the disappearance of Wednesday’s Aunt Ophelia, which is expected to play a major role in shaping the storyline.

Another main storyline will likely be around Enid Sinclair, played by Emma Myers. After embracing her werewolf abilities, Enid may step into a more powerful role, possibly even becoming a leader among her peers. There is also speculation that Tyler Galpin, portrayed by Hunter Doohan, could make a comeback.

‘Our goal for season 3 is the same as it is for every season: to make it the best season of Wednesday we possibly can,’ said co-creator and showrunner Alfred Gough.

Wednesday season 3 cast

The new season is likely to bring back several familiar faces. Fans can expect Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia Addams and Luis Guzman as Gomez Addams, alongside Jenna Ortega in the lead role.

Also, season 3 will introduce a number of new actors to the series. Lena Headey, Andrew McCarthy, James Lance, Winona Ryder, Chris Sarandon, Noah Taylor, Oscar Morgan and Kennedy Moyer are confirmed to join the cast. Notably, Eva Green will play Aunt Ophelia, whose disappearance is set to be a key part of the upcoming story.
