Lava has announced the launch of four new smartphones in its Z series in India. Lava says the new Z series phones - Z60, Z70, Z80 and Z90 - are designed in-house and manufactured locally in the country. The new Z series phones bring new camera features like dual bokeh mode and dual camera setup.

Lava Z60 is the cheapest of the four models announced by the company. The Z60 features a 5-inch IPS display with 2.5D curved glass on top. It comes with 1GB RAM, 16GB storage, 5MP rear camera with autofocus and a 5MP front camera with spotlight flash. The smartphone supports dual bokeh mode in both the front and rear cameras, which automatically blurs the background. The smartphone is priced at Rs 5,500.

Lava Z70 is an upgrade over Z60 with a rear mounted fingerprint sensor and support for app encryption. The handset features a 5-inch in-cell display and comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. It features an 8MP front camera with flash and a 5MP back camera. The device is priced at Rs 8,000.

The Z80 is priced at Rs 9,000 and it also features a 5-inch IPS display with 2.5D curved glass. The smartphone offers 3GB RAM, 16GB storage, an 8MP rear camera with autofocus and a 5MP selfie camera with flash. The smartphone comes with piano black finish on the back and support dual bokeh mode in both front and rear cameras.

Lava Z90 is premium of the four models with 5.2-inch HD IPS display and 2.5D curved glass on top. It comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. It features a dual rear camera setup with one 8MP sensor coupled with another 2MP sensor, f/2.0 aperture and flash. There is also an 8MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture and dedicated flash. Like Z60 and Z80, the Z90 also supports dual bokeh mode and comes embedded with a fingerprint sensor. The smartphone is priced at Rs 10,750.

With these smartphones, we have been able to pack premium features with product reliability - to provide our customers a very high product experience," Gaurav Nigam, Product Head, LAVA International said in a statement.

Alongside the launch of these Z series phones, Lava also introduced its first ever offer called 'Lava Money Back Challenge.' Under this offer, customers can buy any Lava phone and under the event of not liking it, they can return the device within 30 days to avail full refund of their money. This challenge is valid only from October 1, 2017 to December 31, 2017. "This challenge will serve as a confident reason, for customers, to be associated with LAVA. We are sure that customers will find our new products and the offer exciting and valuable," he added.

Lava Z60, Z70, Z80 and Z90 run Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box and they come preloaded with Microsoft's Swiftkey Keyboard for multi-lingual typing experience. The smartphones priced between Rs 5,500 and Rs 10,750 will be available across all retail stores and major ecommerce platforms.
