Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 goes on pre-order today at 12PM via Flipkart: Price, launch offers and all you need to know

The smartphone runs on stock Android Oreo and features a dual rear camera setup. It comes in a 3GB RAM/32GB storage model, which is priced at Rs 10,999 and another 4GB RAM/64GB model which will cost Rs 12,999.

Flipkart and Asus recently announced a strategic partnership, under which the e-commerce platform will be the exclusive retailer for the Asus products. The first device to be launched under the partnership is the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1, which directly goes up against the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro. The Zenfone Max Pro M1 first smartphone by the company to come with the stock Android operating system instead of ZenUI and it will go on pre-order today at 12 PM via Flipkart. Note that pre-ordering will only be available on prepaid orders and the device will be available in Black and Grey colour models. The 3GB RAM/32GB internal storage variant of the smartphone is priced at Rs 10,999, whereas its 4GB RAM and 64GB storage version costs Rs 12,999. Click here to buy.

There are also some launch offers for customers purchasing the Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1. It will be available on a no-cost EMI starting at Rs 917 per month and Vodafone subscribers can avail free 10GB of data per month for one year with the smartphone. This offer is available for both, the telcos prepaid and postpaid users, Vodafone RED postpaid users who have opted for Rs 399 and above plan will automatically be eligible to avail the offer but prepaid customers will have to perform a recharge worth Rs 199 or above to receive the free data. There’s also an extra Rs 1,000 off over regular exchange with the smartphone and Flipkart is also offering its new "Complete Mobile Protection" plan, which is said to cover "everything that can go wrong with a phone, except theft," for a special introductory price of Rs 49. 

Coming to the feature and specifications of the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1, like all the latest smartphones, it sports a taller 18:9 display aspect ratio and comes with a dual-rear camera setup. As mentioned earlier, it runs on stock Android and Asus has also promised of updating the device with the next two major Android updates, up to Android Q. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC with Adreno 509 GPU and features a 5.99-inch IPS full HD+ Full View display. Its display comes with Trupallete and Ecopix features, which are said to deliver better colour reproduction and contrast ratio respectively. You can read our review of the smartphone here.

In terms of optics, the Zenfone Max Pro M1 is equipped with a 13MP + 5MP dual-rear cameras with “fast” autofocus. On the front, it is equipped with an 8MP sensor and both the front and rear cameras come with an LED softlight. The smartphone features a fingerprint sensor on the rear and is backed by 5000mAh battery, which as per Asus, can deliver up to 25.3 hours of full HD video playback and up to 42 hours of 3G talktime. The company claims that the hefty battery can be fully charged in 2 hours and 42 minutes. The dual-SIM Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 is equipped with 5 magnet speaker and an NXP smart amplifier that is said to enhance the device’s audio quality and the smartphone supports face unlock as well.
