Asus has discounted its 2018 flagship, the Zenfone 5Z, and this year's mid-range, the Zenfone Max Pro M2, in India.

The Zenfone 5Z has been discounted by Rs 3,000.

The Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 has also received a price drop of up to Rs 1,000.

Asus has announced a price cut on two of its smartphones, its 2018 flagship, the Zenfone 5Z, and this year’s mid-range, the Zenfone Max M2. The Zenfone 5Z has been discounted by Rs 3,000 and the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage version of the handset will now be available for Rs 24,999. The 8GB RAM version of the handset with 256GB of storage will now be available for Rs 28,999. The 6GB and 8GB RAM of the phone was previously available for Rs 27,999 and Rs 31,999 respectively. The Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 has also received a price drop and its 3GB RAM + 32GB storage variant is now available for Rs 7,999, while it will cost Rs 9,499 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant. 

Asus Zenfone 5Z specifications

The Asus Zenfone 5Z comes equipped with a 6.2-inch Full HD+ Super IPS+ display, which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. It runs on the Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC and comes with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.1 storage, which can be expanded up to 2TB using a microSD card. The phone comes equipped with a 3300mAh battery that supports Quick Charge 3.0. In terms of optics, the smartphone features a 12MP + 8MP dual rear camera setup. On the front is an 8MP sensor. Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 specifications

The Asus ZenFone Max Pro M2 is equipped with a 6.26-inch HD+ display that has a 19:9 aspect ratio. Running on the Snapdragon 660 SoC, it comes with up to 4GB RAM and up to 64GB of internal storage. In terms of optics, the handset features a dual rear camera setup with a 13MP primary sensor and a 5MP depth sensor. On the front is an 8MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture lens.
