According to outage tracking platforms, reports of problems started increasing sharply on late Tuesday. In the United States, the real-time complaints reached over 15,000 reports while in India, it remained limited to under 1,000. Most complaints were linked to the Spotify mobile app, while others involved server connectivity and audio streaming failures. Some users also claimed the service briefly recovered before going down again.

The company later acknowledged the issue through its official social media account, stating that it was aware of ongoing problems affecting the app and that its teams were investigating the situation. However, Spotify has not yet shared the reason behind the disruption or provided a timeline for a fix.

Users in countries including the United States and the United Kingdom reportedly faced similar issues. Some people were still able to access offline downloads, but streaming and search functions remained unreliable for many subscribers.

On the other hand, angry users have shifted to X and Instagram and turned the news feeds into the meme fest. Most of them have found humour in the situation and brutally trolled Spotify with their memes, opinions, funny videos and sarcastic tweets. Here are some of them.
