Xiaomi is famous for making affordable smartphones as well as for a variety of accessories, including bags. Expanding its accessories segment, the Chinese tech giant has launched two polarised sunglasses in the Indian market. Called the Mi Polarised Square and Mi Polarized Pilot, the unisex sunglasses are now available on the company’s online store. The Mi Polarised Square sunglasses come in Blue and Gray shades, and start at a price of Rs 899. The Mi Polarized Pilot sunglasses are available in Blue and Green shades. These will be available at a starting price of Rs 1,099.

Both the Mi sunglasses come with TAC Polarised Lens, which provide 6-layered-lens technology for glare reduction and eliminate harmful UV rays. The polarized vision helps in providing a clear image with enhanced contrast. The glass is scratch resistant and it also also reduces eye strain. The Mi sunglasses feature UV400 Protection, giving 100 percent protection against UVA, UVB and UVC rays up to 400 nanometres. In addition, the Xiaomi Mi Polarised Square glasses come with a flexible TR90 frame, whereas the Mi Polarised Pilot has a 304H Metal frame. The Mi sunglasses ship with a 6-month warranty.

Recently, Xiaomi announced the Mi Express Kiosk initiative in India under which customers can purchase Xiaomi smartphones and accessories directly from the Mi Express Kiosks (vending machines). There is no information on whether these vending machines will have the Mi Polarised sunglasses. Xiaomi says that the customers can make payments through all forms of payments, that is, credit cards, debit cards, cash and UPI.
