Samsung has showcased a new foldable screen at Consumer Electronics Show 2026 (CES 2026) that looks almost perfect. According to well-known leaker Ice Universe, the display has no visible crease at all and uses under-display camera technology. The tipster says this screen could be used in the long-rumoured iPhone Fold, which is expected to launch as early as September. Interestingly, the display may also appear in Samsung’s own future foldables.

At the same event, Samsung also drew attention with another product: the Galaxy Z TriFold. The device folds twice and opens into three connected panels. When fully unfolded, it becomes a large tablet-like device, showing Samsung’s vision for the next stage of foldable design.
The Galaxy Z TriFold features a large 10-inch QXGA+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X inner screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,600 nits of peak brightness. On the outside, there is a 6.5-inch Full HD+ AMOLED outer display protected by Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2.
Inside, the phone runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset, built using a 3nm process. Furthermore, the device is backed by a 5,600mAh battery with support for 45W wired charging and 15W wireless charging.
For photography, the Galaxy Z TriFold houses a triple camera setup on the back: a 200MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 10MP telephoto lens with up to 30x digital zoom. For selfies and video calls, there is a 10MP camera on the front of both the cover and inner displays. According to Samsung, the Galaxy Z TriFold takes “premium performance and experience of an ultra phone to the next level by unfolding twice to reveal the most immersive screen on a phone, providing ultimate productivity of mobile workspace and cinematic viewing.”
