According to the brand, the Bespoke AI WindFree lineup will include:

  • WindFree Cooling, which disperses air gently to reduce direct drafts
  • AI Fast & WindFree Cooling+, designed to optimise cooling speed and comfort based on usage patterns
  • AI Energy Mode, aimed at improving energy efficiency through adaptive operation
  • Preventive maintenance features, using AI to monitor performance and flag potential issues
  • SmartThings integration, enabling remote control and automation within Samsung’s smart home ecosystem

Meanwhile, at CES 2026, the company showcased the new WindFree Pro air conditioner, which uses AI and an upgraded airflow system to offer more personalised cooling. It features three blades instead of one, enabling airflow in multiple directions and supporting seven wind modes. These include Max Wind for faster cooling, Surround Wind for even air distribution, Long Reach Wind for extended airflow, and Down Wind for quicker cooling by pushing warm air downward.

WindFree Pro AC also features Radar-based AI Direct and Indirect Wind modes that detect user presence and adjust airflow automatically for better comfort. It has AI Fast and Comfort Cooling that analyses temperature, humidity and room size to select the most suitable cooling mode, including fast cooling, WindFree comfort or dry comfort. And all of these can run efficiently with AI Energy Mode that adapts to usage patterns and external conditions to stabilise compressor operation and cut energy use by up to 30%.

WindFree technology so far

Samsung’s WindFree technology has been part of its premium air conditioner portfolio in India for several years, focusing on comfort without harsh airflow. The new Bespoke AI iteration could add deeper AI-based optimisation and tighter integration with SmartThings, reflecting the broader industry shift towards intelligent, connected appliances.

In recent seasons, air conditioner brands in India have increasingly emphasised energy efficiency, predictive maintenance and app-based control, driven by higher electricity costs and growing smart home adoption. Samsung’s teaser suggests that AI-led automation and personalised cooling will be central to its 2026 AC strategy.

For context, Samsung’s 2025 Bespoke AI WindFree AC lineup brought:

  • 19-models
  • WindFree Cooling with 23,000 micro-holes to avoid direct air drafts
  • AI Fast & Comfort Cooling paired with AI Energy Mode, claiming up to 30 percent energy savings
  • AI Digital Inverter, which is designed to operate reliably at temperatures up to 58°C
  • SmartThings integration with app control, Map View, Quick Remote and voice assistants
  • Lifestyle features like Good Sleep mode and geo-fencing-based Welcome Cooling
  • Copper anti-bacterial filter, Durafin Ultra coating, 5-year comprehensive and 10-year compressor warranty
  • And their prices started at Rs 32,990.

Samsung is expected to share full specifications, availability and pricing of the 2026 lineup closer to the official launch. Keep reading Digit.in for updated details.
