What this means for developers

In case you create and publish your own apps over on the Apple App Store and you are willing to add more localised languages, Apple has now revised the developer tools with these new languages. Over on the blog post, they announced that developers would now be able to provide localised metadata for these new languages.

The metadata includes things like the app name, description, screenshots, and other relevant details. As per Apple, whenever a developer localises their metadata, it helps make their app relevant to potential users across different languages and cultures and, all in all, provides them an opportunity to grow their business.

Furthermore, Apple has also said that developers would be able to add localised metadata with their next version submission for each platform, i.e., iPhone/iPadOS/macOS/watchOS. They’ve even introduced new localised App Store badges, which can be added to the marketing pages for the app.
