How to filter messages on Instagram
Step 1: Open the Instagram app on your Android device or iPhone.
Step 2: Swipe left anywhere on your feed or tap the arrow icon/ Messenger icon present at the top right corner to go to your inbox.
Step 3: On the right side of the search box, tap the Filter option.
Step 4: Tap the Unread option to see only unread messages. Tap the Unanswered option to see only messages to which you haven’t replied yet. Tap the Flagged option to see only flagged messages.
Step 5: To remove the filter, tap Clear.
It’s important to note that this feature is only available for public accounts.
