After much waiting, Lenskart has finally announced that its first AI-powered smart glasses, called ‘B by Lenskart,’ will be available in early access in India. So, if you are someone who wants hands-free photography, audio, and AI assistance in a wearable form factor, you may not have to wait long. The Lenskart glasses will be released to early adopters soon, and here are their details, including their early access price.
SurveyPrice and availability
B by Lenskart will be seeded to testers at a starting price of Rs 22,000. It will take on Meta Ray Ban Gen 1 and similar smart glasses.
The package includes blue light lenses, a charging case, and a cable.
Although the company hasn’t revealed a public rollout timeline yet, interested users can register through Lenskart’s official website.
Specifications and features
The Lenskart glasses are powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon AR1 Gen 1 chipset, which is built specifically for smart eyewear. This processor enables on-device processing for voice commands, camera functions, and AI interactions. So, it doesn’t have to rely on a smartphone for all these things.
The wearable has a 12MP Sony sensor that can capture photos and record 1080p video at 30fps. And for privacy reasons, it has an LED indicator that lights up during recording.
For audio, the device uses dual open-ear speakers, allowing users to listen to music or take calls without blocking ambient sound. A triple-microphone setup is present to capture your voice commands and improve call clarity in noisy environments.

Lenskart claims B is rated to run up to 4 hours, and with the bundled charging case, you can expect up to 48 hours.
As for smart features, you get:
- The ‘Hey Buddy’ assistant powered by Google Gemini delivers AI features such as answering queries, contextual responses, and live note-taking. It supports over 40 languages, indicating a focus on accessibility and broader adoption in multilingual markets like India.
- Users can control the device through touch gestures on the frame or via voice commands.
It supports Bluetooth 5.3, and is compatible with Android 12 and above, and iOS 18 and above.
In terms of design, the glasses weigh around 40 to 45 grams and feature curved frames, rubberised nose pads, and straight temples for stability. You can choose between standard, sun, or transition lenses.
The early access rollout suggests Lenskart is still testing real-world feedback before a broader release.
We will keep you posted about its rollout.
