Vivo is all set to expand its mid-range smartphone segment with the upcoming Vivo T5 5G. The smartphone will be joining the Vivo T5 series that currently has the Vivo T5 Lite and Vivo T5 Pro. While the company has been tight-lipped about the upcoming device, the leaks and rumours have painted a clear picture of what to expect from the device. The smartphone is said to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor and house a 7,500mAh battery. Moreover, it’s also tipped to get a dual-camera setup at the back. Vivo has recently put up the micro-site for the T5 5G model on Flipkart, confirming that the launch of the device is not so far away. However, the company refrained from announcing the exact launch date of the smartphone.

Early reports suggest that the smartphone can land in the Indian markets with a price somewhere between Rs 34,999 and Rs 49,999. However, keep in mind that these are just speculations, and the official price will only be revealed at the time of launch and may be different.

The Vivo T5 5G is expected to feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and curved edges. Under the hood, it’s anticipated to draw its power from Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, which may get paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage options.
Out of the box the device is expected to run on OriginOS 6, a skin based on Android 16. Moreover, the device may also bring certain AI features. The handset is tipped to pack a 7,500mAh battery with support for 100W fast charging.
To please the camera enthusiasts, the T5 5G may feature a triple rear camera setup, including a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilisation, a 13MP ultrawide lens and an 8MP periscope telephoto sensor. At the front the device may boast a 32MP sensor for selfies and video calls.
