Alcatel has launched the OneTouch Watch in India and it's available through Flipkart. The smartwatch doesn't run Android Wear and is priced at Rs 7,999. The Alcatel OneTouch Watch comes with a round 1.22-inch display and a resolution of 240×240 pixels along with an oleophobic coating.

The smartwatch comes with a heart-rate monitor, accelerometer, altimeter, gyroscope as well as a compass. It is dust and water-resistant up to one meter and has a 210mAh battery. The wristband of the device has a charging port that allows it to be charged via USB. The Alcatel OneTouch Watch will be available in two styles: Sporty Dark Red and Volcano Black and White.

The smartwatch uses Bluetooth to connect with any Android smartphone with Android 4.3 or above installed. It can also connect to any iOS devices with iOS7 or above. The Alcatel OneTouch Watch can display notifications, social media updates, and also vibrates if the user goes out of the Bluetooth range. Users can also use the device to click pictures from a distance or make the device ring in order to find it. It will also track sleep cycles, distance covered, steps taken as well as the calories that were burned.

The OneTouch Watch isn’t the only wearable by Alcatel. At the IFA event in Berlin this year, Alcatel announced the Alcatel Go Watch. The device comes with a heart rate sensor, gyroscope, as well as an accelerometer like most other smartwatches, but uses them to measure the user’s mood. Alcatel calls this emotional pulse measurement and the displays graphics that summarise the user’s emotional state. The device is also dustproof, waterproof, and shockproof and the company claims that it has a battery life of two to five days. The Alcatel Go Watch will be available in white color, but the company will be offering a collection of wristbands and front casings for it. Not much is known about the Go Watch except that it will cost less than $150, which is  approx. Rs. 9,952.
