Network operators are giving each other cutthroat competition as far as data and calling plans are concerned. Airtel, Vodafone and Reliance Jio, the big three are launching data plans, recharge packets and special offers left right and center to ensure you stay glued to your phone. However, with more options comes more confusion and you may get lost with the barrage of plans at your disposal. It will be impossible to break down all the plans that Relaince Jio, Airtel and Vodafone offer. So, we’ve done something simple. We are going to take a look at the popular plans that these service providers offer around the Rs 200, Rs 300 to Rs 350 and the Rs 500 price bracket and tell you the data and calling schemes on offer. We have also kept into account the validity of these plans at 28 days, though all plans do not fit this bill. This should give you a good idea on your monthly spending on recharges along with the data you get to use.

Around Rs 200

If you have a budget of about Rs 200 to recharge your phone every month then here is what the big three service providers offer. Airtel has a Rs 199 plan with which you get 28 days validity along with unlimited local and STD calling. You also get unlimited roaming incoming and outgoing calls along with 100 local and national SMSes per day. With the Rs 199 plan, you get 1.4GB 3G/4G data per day.

Vodafone has a Rs 199 plan with which you get 28 days validity along with unlimited local STD and roaming calls. You also get 100 SMSes per day. With the Rs 199 plan, you get 1.4GB 3G/4G data per day. So, it’s clear that Vodafone and Airtel are offering the same benefits for the price of Rs 199.

Reliance Jio has a Rs 149 plan and a Rs 198 plan. Kicking things off with the Rs 149 plan, you get 28 days validity, with unlimited incoming and outgoing calls. The SMS limit is 100 messages per day. You also get 1.5GB of data per day with this plan. What you get with Airtel and Vodafone for Rs 199, you get with Jio for Rs 149.

Moving over to the Rs 198 plan from Jio, you get 28 days validity, with unlimited incoming and outgoing calls. The SMS limit is 100 messages per day. You also get 2GB of data per day with this plan.

Around Rs 300

Moving over to the offers around Rs 300, Airtel has a Rs 349 plan with which you get 28 days validity along with unlimited local and STD calling. You also get unlimited roaming incoming and outgoing calls along with 100 local and national SMSes per day. With the Rs 349 plan, you get 2.5GB 3G/4G data per day

Vodafone on the other hand has a Rs 348 plan with which you get 28 days validity along with unlimited local STD and roaming calls. You also get 100 SMSes per day. Jio is the only one among the three that has a plan at Rs 299 which offers 28 days validity, with unlimited incoming and outgoing calls. The SMS limit is 100 messages per day. You also get 3GB of data per day with this plan.

Around Rs 500

Both Airtel and Vodafone have a Rs 509 plan but the validity is far more than 28 days. The Validity of the Rs 509 plan for both, Vodafone and Airtel is 90 days. Both service providers give you unlimited local and STD calling. You also get unlimited roaming incoming and outgoing calls along with 100 local and national SMSes per day.
