Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has been introducing new prepaid plans to attract customers. The state-owned telecom service has recently announced a Rs 199 recharge plan with unlimited calling, daily data limit and other benefits. Additionally, the telco also offers several budget-friendly plans starting from as low as Rs 107. If you’re a budget-conscious user, student, traveller, or someone who’s seeking a secondary SIM, the BSNL Rs 199 plan comes with high-speed data, free voice calling and daily SMS, among other benefits.

BSNL Rs 199 plan benefits and validity
The Rs 199 prepaid plan comes with unlimited voice calls, 2GB of high-speed data/limit, and 100 SMS/day for a validity of 28 days. Additionally, the telecom operator is also offering 2% discount on the recharge. Interested users can recharge only through the BSNL website and the self-care app. After the data cap is reached, speeds drop to 40 kbps.
Apart from these, the telco also offers prepaid plans for budget-conscious users starting at just Rs 107. The plan comes with a 35-day validity. This plan includes 3 GB of high-speed data and 200 free voice minutes (local, STD, and roaming). After data exhaustion, speeds are throttled to 40 kbps. Thereafter, standard call/SMS charges apply at Re 1/min local, Rs 1.30/min STD, and Rs 0.80/SMS.

Additionally, there is also an Rs 141 pack that offers 1.5 GB/day for 30 days, unlimited voice calls, and 200 SMS/day. Once the daily limit is used, no further data or SMS are available. Further, the Rs 147 plan offers a one-time 10 GB high-speed data limit and unlimited voice calls (including roaming) for 30 days.
BSNL also offers a Rs 149 plan with 1 GB/day with unlimited voice and 100 SMS/day over 28 days —an all-rounder for casual users.
