Samsung is reportedly gearing up for its next flagship launch, the Galaxy S26 series. Expected to launch in January 2026, the upcoming lineup is said to come with the most significant changes in years, with the brand being rumoured to replace the standard Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26 Plus with the new Galaxy S26 Pro and Galaxy S26 Edge, respectively. While there are no official details on the same, leaks and certifications have already started doing rounds on the Internet, giving us a fair idea of what to expect.
SurveyAs per tipster Ice Universe, both the Galaxy S26 Pro (SM-S9420) and Galaxy S26 Edge (SM-S9470) will support 25W wired charging – the same as the Galaxy S25 series. The leak also coincides with China’s 3C certification listing. Galaxy S26 Pro is tipped to get a pill-shaped camera island housing three vertically stacked sensors. The camera lenses, too, appear slightly different on the rumoured handset.
On the front, the handset will likely get a tiny punch-hole camera in the middle of the display, along with slim and uniform bezels. The sides are tipped to be flat with slightly curved edges, and all the buttons – power and volume may sit neatly on the right side. The phone will likely have a glass back and aluminium around the frame.
Furthermore, Galaxy S26 Pro could sport the slightly larger 6.3-inch display measuring approximately 149.3 x 71.4 x 6.96mm (10.23mm including the camera bump).

Battery life is also tipped to get improvements with the Galaxy S26 Pro, which is expected to ship with a 4,300mAh battery, up from 4,000mAh on the S25.
The camera department is getting some upgrades, too, with the ultrawide sensor jumping from 12MP to 50MP. However, there are no details on the main and telephoto cameras just yet, but expect improvements there as well.
Furthermore, the entire Galaxy S26 series is likely to feature built-in magnets, hinting at support for Qi2 magnetic wireless charging, similar to Apple’s MagSafe.
