Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is one of the best selling smartphones in the country. Flipkart claims to have sold over 2 million units since its debut in January.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, one of the best selling smartphones in the Indian market will go on sale today at 12 noon. The handset was launched in India in January and will be available via both Mi.com and Flipkart. The Indian e-commerce giant claims Redmi Note 4 to be India's No.1 selling smartphone with over 2 million units sold in 120 days.

In terms of specifications, Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 sports a 5.5-inch Full HD display and is powered by Qualcomm's power efficient Snapdragon 625 SoC. The smartphone comes with three different storage options: 2GB RAM variant with 32GB storage, 3GB RAM variant with 32GB storage and 4GB RAM model with 64GB storage. All three variants will be available for purchase on Flipkart while Mi.com is only offering the 3GB RAM and 4GB RAM variants.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 offers a 13MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, phase detection autofocus and is capable of recording 120fps slow-motion videos. There is a 5MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture, face recognition, 1080p video recording and support for beautification modes. It offers connectivity options like WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n with WiFi Direct, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS with A-GPS and GLONASS.

The Redmi Note 4 is 8.5mm thick and sports an aluminium unibody construction. It weighs around 165 grams and is backed by a 4100mAh battery along with support for fast charging. In our review, we noted that Redmi Note 4 is an improvement over its predecessor but doesn't warrant an upgrade from last year's Note 3. The Redmi Note 4 with 2GB RAM is priced at Rs 9,999 while the 3GB RAM variant will retail for 10,999. Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage is priced at Rs 12,999.
