Vivo is all set to launch its Vivo Z1Pro smartphone that it has been teasing for some time. The new handset will be announced at an event in New Delhi that is slated to commence at 12pm today. While we already know most specs of the handset, the phone manufacturer will announce its availability and India pricing at today’s event. The Vivo Z1Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 SoC and is confirmed to come equipped with a punch-hole camera design that will house a 32MP front camera. Going by the specs, it could go up against the Redmi Note 7 Pro and other handsets that are priced around the same range. Additionally, the phone will be made available via Flipkart in India.

Vivo Z1 Pro: How to watch live stream

The launch event of the Vivo Z1Pro is slated to take place at 12pm today in New Delhi. The company will live stream the event via its various social media channels but you can directly watch it from the video embedded below.

Vivo Z1 Pro specifications

As confirmed by the company, the Vivo Z1Pro will be launched running on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 SoC. The handset’s processor is based on a 10nm manufacturing process and is powered by Kryo 360 cores clocked at 2.3GHz. The handset will be backed by a large 5000mAh battery that supports 18W fast-charging. There’s a fingerprint sensor on the rear, along with a vertically placed triple-rear camera setup. 

In terms of optics, the handset comes equipped with a 32MP front-facing camera that is housed inside a punch-hole display. The triple rear cameras are speculated consist of 16MP + 8MP + 2MP sensors. While all the aforementioned specs are confirmed, the handset is expected to be a rebranded version of the Vivo Z5x, which was previously launched in China. If this is the case, then the smartphone might feature a 6.53-inch FHD+ LCD display and could be announced in three variants: 4GB/64GB, 6GB/64GB, and 6GB/128GB.

Vivo Z1 Pro expected pricing

Going by the specs, the Vivo Z1 Pro is a mid-range device that could take on the Redmi Note 7 Pro, Asus Max Pro M2 and other mid-range handsets. However, the phone might be a rebranded version of the Vivo Z5x, which is priced at CNY 1,398 (Rs 14,400 approx) for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant and costs CNY 1,498 (Rs 15,400 approx) and CNY 1,698 (Rs 17,400 approx) for the 6GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB versions respectively. There’s also an 8GB RAM + 128GB storage version of the handset that retails for CNY 1,998 (Rs 20,500 approx). The new Vivo Z1 Pro is expected to be priced around the same or in India.
