Samsung globally unveiled its Galaxy Note10 series of smartphones during its Galaxy Unpacked event on August 8. Soon after, the smartphone maker revealed the India pricing of the Galaxy Note10 and the Galaxy Note10+ smartphones but there was no information on when the devices would actually hit the shelves in India. The company has now told Digit that the new Galaxy Note10 series of phones will be launched in India at 11:30 AM on August 20. The Samsung Galaxy Note10 handsets are the company’s latest flagship phones that come equipped with the new Exynos 9825 chipset that is fabricated on a 7nm EUV lithography process.
Samsung Galaxy Note10, Note10+ specifications
The Samsung Galaxy Note10 and Note10+ share a lot of similar specifications. They both feature a Curved Dynamic AMOLED Infinity-O display with HDR10+ and Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. They run on the octa-core Exynos 9825 processor. The Galaxy Note10 features a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display with a 2280×1080p resolution, while the Galaxy Note10+ sports a 6.8-inch Quad HD+ display with a 3040 × 1440p screen.
In terms of memory and storage, the Galaxy Note10 is equipped with 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage, while the Galaxy Note10+ features 12GB RAM with options of selecting between 256GB or 512GB of internal storage. There’s also a dedicated slot for microSD card on the Galaxy Note10+. Both smartphones run on Android 9.0 Pie. The Galaxy Note10 is backed by a 3500mAh battery while the Galaxy Note10+ sports a 4300mAh battery with up to 45W fast wired charging. Both of them have wireless (WPC and PMA) charging, and Wireless PowerShare to reverse charge other compatible devices.
Coming to optics, the Galaxy Note10 sports a triple rear camera setup with a 12MP Dual Pixel primary camera with variable aperture ranging between f/1.5 and f/2.4. It also supports OIS. There’s a 12MP telephoto camera as well, with 45 degree FoV, OIS and f/2.4 aperture lens and a 16MP 123 degree Ultra Wide sensor with f/2.2 aperture lens. The Galaxy Note10+ is equipped with a 12MP dual pixel rear camera with OIS, f/1.5 and f/2.4 variable aperture lens , along with a 12MP telephoto camera with 45 degree FoV, OIS and f/2.4 aperture lens. There’s also a 16MP 123 degree ultra wide sensor with f/2.2 aperture lens, and VGA DepthVision Camera, also known as Time of Flight sensor.
On the front, both Galaxy Note10 and Note10+ feature a 10MP Dual Pixel front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture lens. Both handsets get stereo speakers and earphones tuned by AKG, support surround sound with Dolby Atmos technology, and a USB Type-C port. The two phones are also IP68 water and dust resistant.

The Samsung Galaxy Note10 is priced starting at Rs 69,999 in India for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. The Samsung Galaxy Note10+ will cost Rs 79,999 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. The company is yet to reveal the price of other variants and whether they will be announced in India.
Coming to offers, Samsung is offering discounts to consumers who pre-book the Galaxy Note10 phones. Those who use HDFC credit or debit cards at retail outlets and the Samsung online shop will get a Rs 6,000 cashback on their purchases. Additionally, ICICI credit or debit card users on Amazon, Flipkart, Paytm, and Tata CliQ will get a cashback of Rs 6,000 too.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch Active will also be available for Rs 9,999 to those who pre-book the Galaxy Note10 and the Galaxy Note10+. The device currently retails for Rs 19,990.
