HTC One M10 to miss out Mobile World Congress
HTC One M10 rumored to skips MWC and to be released on March
The HTC One M10 will not be unveiled at MWC 2016 in Barcelona, Spain this year. Oddly enough while we got to see a whole lot of leaks on the Samsung Galaxy S7 and LG G5 last year, the HTC One M10 seems to be completely missing in all the tech related gossips and rumors throughout last year. Turns out that the company is planning to unveil the model on a dedicated event somewhere in March and the phone would be available for the public in April, says a report from IT Home.
Rumors says that while HTC did plan to unveil the M10 at MWC, it was delayed after the management returned prototypes back to their design team. The phone is said to have a completely new design than its predecessor. It will reportedly feature a fingerprint scanner following the current trend, a 23 MP primary camera, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC and a 3000mAh battery. The device is also said to be water and dust resistant. Ever since the launch of first HTC One M7, HTC started getting a huge popularity and every successive year has been an improvement on its predecessors.
The HTC One M9 had to face the brunt of criticisms on poor battery life, overheating issues and camera quality issues in low light. This means that the One M10 cannot risk the same problems and we can only hope that there would be some improvement on the new HTC One M10.
The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) saw an upgraded HTC Vive and we can only wonder if the powerful VR headset will have some part to play with the HTC One M10. With so many expectations while it would be disappointing for many to miss out on HTC One M10 on MWC, it seems that the phone deserves its own dedicated event.
