Apple iPhone X India pre-orders begin: How to book online and offline, cashback, exchange and all other offers detailed
HIGHLIGHTS

Apple's tenth anniversary iPhone goes up for pre-orders today and buyers can pre-book the iPhone X online or offline. Offline retailers are doubtful of the smartphone’s availability and say that pre-booking is necessary to get the device on November 3. Walk-in purchases will be limited on sale day.

Apple’s latest all-display flagship smartphone, the iPhone X, will be available for pre-orders starting today. Users can pre-order the tenth anniversary iPhone from Flipkart and Amazon starting 12:31PM and the device will go on sale next Friday, on November 3. Buyers can also walk into an Apple authorised outlet or an authorised Apple reseller to pre-book the smartphone offline.

iPhone X pre-booking offers on Flipkart and Amazon

The iPhone X is now available for pre-orders on Flipkart and Amazon. Flipkart is offering a plethora of exchange and cashback deals on the iPhone X. The e-commerce company is also offering no-cost EMIs from Bajaj Finserv. Flipkart is offering a cashback of Rs 10,000 for customers buying the iPhone X with a Citibank Credit card and Citi World Debit cards. Buyers can also avail either a cashback of Rs 15,000 if they purchase the smartphone with Apple Earpods or a cashback of Rs 22,000, if they buy the iPhone X with an Apple watch.

Amazon, on the other hand, is offering a 70 percent buyback offer for Reliance Jio users. There is a catch with the Jio offer, the iPhone X purchased under the offer must only be used with a Jio SIM and the customer will need to enroll for the Jio- iPhone Plan. Under the Jio- iPhone plan, a user needs to either recharge with Rs 799 or above for a period of 12 consecutive months or perform a one time yearly recharge of Rs 9,588 or above on Jio. Citibank credit card and World Debit card users will also receive a Rs 10,000 cashback while buying the iPhone X.

Pre-booking iPhone X through offline retail stores

We called up multiple offline Apple resellers such as the Imagine store at Select CityWalk Mall, the DDA Shopping Complex, iWorld in Logix City Center, and some others around Delhi-NCR to get more details on the offline pre-ordering procedure for the iPhone X. According to what we were told, the pre-orders for the iPhone X have commenced in offline retails stores as well.

Stores representatives also confirmed that customers may not get a chance to buy the device by directly by walking-in on launch day, November 3, as the iPhone X is expected to be available in highly limited quantities. We were also told that buyers will need to pay a pre-booking amount of Rs 5,000 to reserve their iPhone X units.

Pricing

The iPhone X is priced in India at Rs 89,000 for the 64GB model and at Rs 1.02 lakh for the 256GB variant. It will be available in Space Grey and Silver colours. Leather, silicone cases and other accessories for the smartphone will be available starting at Rs. 3,500. Lightning Docks in colour-matching metallic finish for the device will be available for Rs 4,700.
