Oppo is all set to expand its smartphone market in India with the rummoured Oppo Reno 16 and 16c. While the company has been tight-lipped about the device, the leaks and rumours have painted a clear picture of what to expect with the upcoming devices. The smartphones are expected to feature a big display with a massive battery under the hood. The Reno 16 is tipped to come with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, while the Reno 16c is said to launch with a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 energy chip. According to the leak, the Oppo Reno 16 5G will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset under the hood. Moreover, it’s also rumoured that the device will feature up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM along with UFS 3.1 internal storage that goes up to 1TB.
The smartphone is also tipped to come packed with a large 6,700mAh silicon-carbon battery. Furthermore, the handset is also expected to come with a 6.32-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is also said to bag the IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K certifications.
In terms of optics, the Reno 16 will house a triple rear-camera setup at the back. It includes a 200MP primary camera, 50MP telephoto lens and 50MP ultrawide sensor. At the front, the device houses a 50MP camera for selfies and video calls.

Oppo Reno 16c: Specs (Expected)
The Oppo Reno 16c 5G is tipped to arrive with a 6.57-inch Full HD+ AMOLED panel clubbed with a 120Hz refresh rate. It’s also anticipated to reach 1,400 nits peak brightness when used outdoors.
The smartphone is expected to come with a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 energy chip along with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage capacity. Furthermore, it may also house a 7,000mAh battery under the hood.
For the camera enthusiasts, the device will come equipped with a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens and an 8MP ultrawide camera. It’s also anticipated to come with a 50MP selfie shooter.

Oppo Reno 16 and Reno 16c launch date and price (Expected)
Oppo has not yet officially announced the launch date for its Reno 16 and Reno 16c. However, leaks and rumours suggest that the device may launch in India on July 2, 2026.
Recent leaks suggest that the Reno 16 5G could land in the Indian market with a price tag of Rs 59,999, while the Reno 16c 5G could cost around Rs 49,999. The phones may be available in Starry White, Twilight Violet, and Stellar Purple colours.
