Lenovo Legion Pro rollable laptop tipped to feature Nvidia RTX 5090 GPU: Everything we know
For years, gaming laptops have pushed performance boundaries while largely sticking to the same familiar shape. Faster GPUs, better cooling, brighter displays, but always within a fixed screen size. That might change soon. After experimenting with rollable displays for productivity-focused machines, Lenovo now appears ready to bring the same ambitious idea to gamers. Reports of Lenovo planning to showcase a Legion-branded rollable gaming laptop at CES 2026 have been around for some time. Now, fresh rumours suggest that the laptop might come with Nvidia’s flagship RTX 5090 laptop GPU. Read on to know more.

Lenovo’s rollable gaming laptop might come with Nvidia 5090 GPU
As mentioned already, Lenovo’s rollable laptop is expected to be powered by Nvidia’s flagship GPU, the GeForce RTX 5090. This is expected to be paired with a top-tier Intel Core Ultra processor, likely from Intel’s upcoming Panther Lake lineup. Lenovo’s own LA Core controller and AI Engine+ software are expected to handle smart power tuning and frame rate optimisation, promising that the laptop behaves like a true Legion Pro machine despite its experimental display.
That said, several details remain unconfirmed. For instance, Lenovo has not shared information about RAM configurations, storage options, battery capacity, or final power limits. This reinforces the idea that the Legion Pro Rollable is meant to explore what is possible rather than signal an imminent commercial launch.
Rollable hardware has long been a CES crowd-puller, with many concepts never making it to store shelves. Even so, Lenovo has consistently used these showcases to test reactions and refine ideas. If the response is strong, this rollable Legion could point toward a future where gaming laptops are no longer locked into a single screen size.
More about Lenovo’s rollable gaming laptop
Reports about Lenovo’s rollable gaming laptop surfaced a couple of days back and it was said that Lenovo is preparing the concept device to be showcased at CES 2026. The laptop is expected to come with a flexible OLED display that expands horizontally. In its default state, the laptop will behave like a conventional 16-inch gaming system. With the press of a button, the screen will extend outward to 21.5 inches, and then again to a full 24 inches.
In addition to this, Lenovo is reportedly planning three distinct presets for this mechanism. Focus Mode keeps things compact at 16 inches for everyday gaming or travel. Tactical Mode expands the display to 21.5 inches for a wider field of view. Arena Mode pushes the panel to 24 inches, matching the size many esports players already train on using desktop monitors. The OLED panel itself is likely to be branded as Lenovo PureSight and will likely use a dual-motor, tension-based system to keep the screen flat and stable at every size, while also keeping transitions quiet and smooth.
