Vivo is all set to unveil its next-generation flagship model, the Vivo X500 Pro Max, in the home market. The device will be a part of the Vivo X500 lineup, which will include the standard X500, X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max. While the company has been tight-lipped about the device, they have finally started teasing the device ahead of its launch. A new teaser confirms the colour variants, the back design and the camera details about the device. The company has also confirmed that the device will support a new telephoto extender kit. Vivo executive Huang Tao has posted on the Chinese microblogging and social media platform where he shared an image of the Vivo X500 Pro Max, which confirms that the upcoming device would land in two colour options, notably the silver and orange colour options.

The Vivo X500 Pro Max is set to come with a Zeiss-tuned triple-camera system on the back. A secondary light sensor will reportedly be positioned next to the camera module, while the LED flash will sit separately from the main camera island.
Vivo has also teased a new telephoto extender that can reach a 400mm focal length. The company has not yet disclosed the full camera specifications, but earlier leaks point to a 50MP main camera, a 200MP periscope telephoto lens and a 50MP ultrawide sensor.
With this setup, the X500 Pro Max appears to be aimed heavily at long-distance photography. The optional extender could make telephoto shooting more practical, with features such as a dedicated shutter button and a zoom control for quicker adjustments.

One can also figure out that the Vivo X500 Pro Max will closely resemble the last year’s Vivo X300 series, as it will sport a flat rear panel, with a centred round camera module placed at the top. Leaks have previously suggested that the device could house a 6.9-inch flat LTPO OLED panel with a 144 Hz refresh rate.
The smartphone is also expected to feature MediaTek’s Dimensity 9600 chipset under the hood. Reports also suggest that it may also come with up to 16GB of LPDDR6 RAM and up to 1TB internal storage. It’s also said to come packed with an 8,000 mAh battery, which may get supported by 100W wired and 40W wireless charging.
Vivo X500 Pro Max: Launch timeline and price (Expected)
Vivo has not yet officially confirmed the launch of the Vivo X500 series in India. However, prominent industry tipsters believe that the smartphone could make its India debut in October. They also suggest that the Vivo X500 Pro Max could be priced between Rs 1,09,999 to Rs 1,39,990.
