Customers can receive technician support to connect compatible appliances to the SmartThings app. The platform enables remote monitoring, automation, and better control over home appliances.
For Samsung, this serves two purposes. First, it improves customer engagement beyond a one-time service interaction. Second, it strengthens its connected home ecosystem strategy, positioning the brand as not just a hardware provider but a long-term smart home partner.
Why this matters
Appliance brands in India are increasingly focusing on after-sales service as a competitive differentiator, as this helps in building loyalty.
For customers, this could mean preventive care rather than reactive repairs. Delayed maintenance could result in unexpected breakdowns and higher repair costs.
How to book servicing
Customers can book service through Samsung WhatsApp Support or by calling the company’s customer care number at 1800 5 7267864.
