Social Media Post

Google Gemini vs Microsoft Copilot: Clash of AI chatbots in 5 different scenarios

Prompt: Create an image for a social media post for a new restaurant opening. The post should highlight the restaurant’s name “FoodHut”, its unique cuisine, beautiful interior, and any special promotions or events happening during the grand opening week. Aim to engage potential customers and encourage them to visit the restaurant.

Google Gemini

I like how the restaurant’s name looks in the image. Apart from this, nothing is clear enough to read. So, I am not very impressed with the result.

Microsoft Copilot

Microsoft Copilot used its creative side and created a picture showing someone posting the restaurant’s image on social media. The image shows the aesthetic ambience of the restaurant.

Book Cover

Prompt: Design a captivating book cover for a fantasy novel titled ‘Magic Kingdom.’ The cover should convey a sense of wonder and enchantment, drawing readers into a world filled with magic and adventure. Consider incorporating elements such as a mystical castle, and fantastical creatures. Ensure the design is eye-catching.

Google Gemini

I love the font that Gemini used to write ‘Magic Kingdom’. The image does have a mystical castle that I wanted. However, it didn’t show the other details that I asked for.

Microsoft Copilot

Microsoft Copilot created exactly what I asked for. The image has a mystical castle and fantastical creatures. Also, it shows a world filled with magic and adventure.

Birthday Invitation

Prompt: Create a vibrant birthday invitation card for a themed birthday party of a girl named ‘Riya’. The party theme is Bollywood and it will be hosted in Mumbai. The invitation should reflect the chosen theme. Include essential details such as the date ‘25th March’, time ‘7:30PM’ and location of the party.

Google Gemini

Apart from ‘Riya’, nothing is readable in the image. I am not even impressed with the girl dancing in the centre. In short, I am disappointed with the invitation card that Google Gemini created.

Microsoft Copilot

I like how the invitation card looks. The colours are vibrant, and anyone can tell at a glance that the theme is Bollywood. However, the date, time and location of the party are not clear. In fact, he does not clearly state that it is a birthday party.

Prompt: Create a distinctive logo for a tech company named “TechMedium”. Make it impactful.

Google Gemini

If compared, Google Gemini did a very decent job. The company’s name is clear and readable in the logo.

Microsoft Copilot

On the other hand, in the logo that Copilot created, the company’s name is spelt wrong.

Campaign Banner

Prompt: Create a campaign banner for a ‘No Smoking’ campaign aimed at promoting a smoke-free environment. The banner should feature something to discourage smoking and encourage healthier lifestyles. Consider using bold visuals, striking colours, and clear text to grab attention and convey the campaign’s message effectively.

Google Gemini

Personally, I would not use this campaign banner that Gemini created for the ‘No Smoking’ campaign. The image lacks the motive and message to promote a smoke-free environment.

Microsoft Copilot

The image that Copilot created clearly shows the consequences of smoking, encouraging people to quit smoking.
