It costs $499 (approximately Rs 42,000) in the US. However, it could be priced higher in India due to import costs. While the company and retailers are yet to reveal any details, reports have revealed the estimated price range in India along with other details.

Nintendo Switch 2 price in India (expected)
Games analyst Rishi Alwani has tipped that the Switch 2 will be available in India, with multiple supply chain sources. The device is expected to be priced between Rs 58,000 and Rs 65,000. Additionally, the Mario Kart World bundle is also leaked to be available at retail with 15-20% price hike.
Do note that the official availability and Nintendo Switch 2 price in India remains unknown at the moment.
Nintendo Switch 2 specifications (expected)
The Nintendo Switch 2 boasts several upgrades over its predecessor, including a 7.9-inch 1080p LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and support for 4K output when docked.Under the hood, the Switch 2 is powered by a custom-built NVIDIA processor, paired with 256GB of internal storage—expandable via microSD Express cards up to 2TB. Part of that storage is reserved for system files, but users will still have ample space for games and media.
The console supports 5.1-channel linear PCM via HDMI, along with stereo speakers and a built-in mono microphone. Nintendo has added noise and echo cancellation along with automatic gain control, and plans to enable virtual surround sound on built-in speakers through a future update. Headphones can already take advantage of immersive surround effects.

Battery life ranges from 2 to 6.5 hours, depending on the gameplay. The Switch 2 packs a 5220mAh lithium-ion battery and takes around 3 hours to fully charge when in Sleep mode.
The console supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth, and includes a LAN port via the dock for stable online play. In docked (TV) mode, it can output up to 4K at 60fps and supports up to 120fps at 1080p or 1440p. Handheld and tabletop modes top out at 1080p.
Other details include dual USB-C ports, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and compatibility with both new Switch 2 and original Switch game cards. The new Joy-Con 2 controllers add advanced motion sensors.
