According to Game Rant, Producer Sota Furahashi recently shared his thoughts, saying he would like season 3 to come out around the next Olympics, suggesting a possible 2028 release. But he also admitted the final decision is up to Kaneko, another producer, and the animation studio A-1 Pictures.
He explained that between seasons 1 and 2, they created over 220,000 frames of animation, highlighting how much work goes into maintaining the show’s quality.
While 2028 seems likely, the Winter Olympics in 2026 could also be a good target for the release. This timing fits with the release pattern of the previous seasons. Many fans hope the wait won’t be too long, but everyone agrees that the animation quality must not be compromised.
