WhatsApp has announced several new updates and features to enhance the chat experience, making it more engaging and creative. The new features include the ability to share Live and Motion photos, new ways to get creative using Meta AI, and much more. Keep reading to know what’s all new.
With the latest update, WhatsApp now lets you share Live Photos (iOS) and Motion Photos (Android), with sound and movement, so you can share richer moments with friends across any platform. Another cool addition is the use of Meta AI to personalise your chats. Earlier this year, WhatsApp introduced Chat Themes, allowing users to customise the look of their conversations. Now, you can use Meta AI to create your own custom chat themes, giving your chats a unique and personal touch.
The AI features don’t stop there. You can also use AI to create custom backgrounds for video calls. You can even apply AI backgrounds when taking photos and videos directly in your chats.

WhatsApp has also added new sticker packs to make conversations more expressive. The new packs include Fearless Bird, School Days and Vacation.
Finding group chats is now easier too. Group names can sometimes be tricky to remember, but with the new update, you can simply search for a friend’s name in your Chats tab, and WhatsApp will show the groups you share with that person.
