The East Palace: Storyline
A mysterious death strikes the royal family, causing fear throughout the kingdom. Rumours spread that a vengeful spirit is attacking the king’s children. Desperate, the King secretly hires Gu-cheon, a skilled warrior who can travel between the living world and the spirit realm.
He teams him up with Saeng-gang, who is a member of the royal court but who possesses a unique talent in that she can listen to the spirits of the dead. They both need to uncover the past of the royal abode. In doing so, they come across many sinister truths. The duo faces a life-or-death mission to protect the bloodline and uncover the truth before the palace falls.

The East Palace: Cast and crew
The East Palace features a cast led by Nam Joo-hyuk as the ghost-slaying warrior Gu-cheon and Roh Yoon-seo as the court lady Saeng-gang, a person who can hear the voices of the dead. Moreover, they are joined by the actor Cho Seung-woo, who plays the mysterious King. The production is done by director Choi Jung-kyu, who is also known for his work on The Devil Judge, and the story is written by the duo Kwon So-ra and Seo Jae-won.
