Xiaomi recently announced the Redmi 6 series of smartphones in India and it seems that the Redmi Note 6 smartphones are currently in the works. An image of the smartphone has popped up on Reddit, giving a glimpse of its display and revealing some of its specifications. Another image by GlobeMobiles gives a look at the device’s retail box and ireaffirms some of its specs, hinting that it will have a 4GB RAM/64GB storage model. Slashleaks has also posted an image that is alleged to be the device’s specs under embargo.
The smartphone’s leaked image and its retail box suggests that the Redmi Note 6 Pro could feature a 6.26-inch display with a 19:9 aspect ratio and Full HD+ resolution. It is touted to come equipped with four cameras. On the front, it could sport a 20MP + 2MP camera setup that is capable of capturing bokeh shots, while on the back it is said to feature dual 12MP + 5MP sensors. The main camera is tipped to support dual-pixel autofocus and come with a 1.4µm pixel size. Finally, it is said to be backed by a 4000mAh battery and come with 4GB RAM, coupled with 64GB of internal storage.
The image posted by Slashleak also reiterates all of the above specifications and also adds to them. As per the alleged embargoed specs summary, the Redmi Note 6 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 636 SoC and come in another variant with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. However, it is said to feature a micro USB port for charging the large battery, which will definitely be a let down if it turns out to be true. However, as the images are all leaks, we suggest that you take this with a pinch of salt.
