Xiaomi Redmi 4 will launch in China on November 4. The company has confirmed the launch of its next Redmi series smartphone on its official Weibo page.

The Xiaomi Redmi 4 has become one of the most anticipated budget smartphones for some time now, with earlier rumours suggesting the device will launch on August 24. A recent leak also hinted at a lost-cost variant dubbed Redmi 4A with basic specifications. Xiaomi's official post on Weibo confirms the device launch for November 4 at 4.30PM IST. Xiaomi also says the event will be live streamed where we can expect Redmi 4 and Redmi 4A launch.

The teaser image posted by Xiaomi on Weibo reveals metal unibody design and display curved at the edges. Xiaomi Redmi 4 is also tipped to feature capacitive buttons at the front and power and volume buttons are reportedly placed at the right hand side. Xiaomi Redmi 4 is expected to feature a 5-inch LCD display with full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.

Xiaomi Redmi 4 is reportedly powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 625 processor paired with 3GB RAM and 32Gb expandable storage. Xiaomi could also announce a variant of Redmi 4 with MediaTek processor. As far as camera is concerned, Redmi 4 is expected to sport a 13MP primary camera with dual LED flash and a 5MP front camera. Considering its a Redmi series, Xiaomi Redmi 4 will likely feature 4100mAh battery. Xiaomi Redmi 4 was also recently spotted on Geekbench listing confirming the specifications.

On the other hand, the low-cost Redmi 4A is tipped to feature a 5-inch HD display with Snapdragon 425 chipset under the hood. The smartphone is likely to feature 2GB RAM, 16GB storage, 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. Xiaomi Redmi 4A is likely to be backed by a 3,030mAh battery.
