Samsung Galaxy S8's primary camera tipped to support dual ADC for accurate colour depth

Samsung Galaxy S8, the next big launch from the Korean smartphone maker after the death of Galaxy Note 7, won't be launching at MWC 2017. The smartphone is expected to launch on March 29 at a multi-city event and hit retail stores on April 21. Now a new leak shares more information on the availability and pricing of the device.

The new leak originating from China hints at the Galaxy S8 being offered only in 6GB RAM variant in South Korea and China. The smartphone is also tipped to be powered by the company's very own Exynos processor and not Snapdragon 835. The Asian market is also tipped to get option to choose between 64 or 128GB internal storage. The device is rumoured to be made available in 4GB RAM, 64GB storage option in Europe and other regions.

Google's Pixel and Pixel XL have dethroned Samsung's Galaxy S7 edge as the best smartphone camera. With the Galaxy S8, the company will try to better its position in the smartphone camera space. The new leak reveals that the Galaxy S8's primary camera will support 'Dual ADC' for better colour reproduction. The tipster also reveals that sensor is not Sony IMX204 but focus will be reading colour depth.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 has been tipped to start at €850 at the time of launch. The new leak suggests the device will be priced at 6,088 Yuan (approximately Rs 61,000) for the 64GB storage option while the 128GB model will be priced at 6,488 Yuan (approximately Rs 65,000). At that pricing, Samsung seems be clearly going for a premium pricing this time.
