Bleach fans finally have something to be happy about as the end of an era is soon approaching. Following four years of intense fights and dramatic twists, it seems that the Thousand Year Blood War arc will finally come to an end. Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War The Calamity is the fourth and last anime of the celebrated Bleach series and will be released internationally in July 2026. The story takes off from the point where the third part ended, and Ichigo Kurosaki and his fellow members are ready for their biggest challenge yet. Studio Pierrot will once again produce the animation for this concluding episode.

Bleach: TYBW The Calamity season 4 storyline
The new season continues straight after the events of Part 3, where Yhwach managed to break into the Soul King’s palace and overpower the Royal Guard. With the boundaries between the Soul Society, the human world and Hueco Mundo starting to crumble, Ichigo and his friends must gather their strength for one final stand.
The season is expected to cover the closing chapters of Tite Kubo’s manga, bringing answers to long-running mysteries around the Soul King while building toward the last battle between the Soul Reapers and the Quincies.

Tomohisa Taguchi continues as chief director, with Hikaru Murata also directing, and Shiro Sagisu returning once again to compose the music. The original Japanese cast comes back for this final run, including Masakazu Morita as Ichigo Kurosaki and Fumiko Orikasa as Rukia Kuchiki. Tite Kubo remains closely involved with the production, working alongside the team to make sure the anime stays true to his original vision as the story reaches its long-awaited end.
