Samsung Galaxy Note 9 might cost close to Rs 79,200: Report

The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is tipped to cost PLN 4,299, which roughly translates to about Rs 79,200

Samsung’s next flagship smartphone, the Galaxy Note 9 is expected to be unveiled on August 9. However, we might have gotten a clue about the price of the smartphone. Polish website, Spider’s Web claims to have obtained the price of the smartphone from a trusted source. As per the report, the Galaxy Note 9 will cost PLN 4,299, which is roughly Rs 79,200. The website also says that it confirmed the information from an employee of a Samsung Store. Spider’s Web also noted in its report that the Note 9 will come to the Polish market in three colour variants, black, purple and blue. A recent report suggest that the phone would be available in a total of five colours.

Another recent leak suggested that Samsung Galaxy Note 9 might feature a similar design as its predecessor, the Galaxy Note 8. The phone is tipped to sport an Infinity Display design, with curved edges. The image also suggested that Samsung may stick to the same button placement, with the volume and Bixby button on the left and the power button on the right. However, the image only showed the front of the phone. The company is expected to bing a major design change on the rear, with a fingerprint sensor that is located below the camera module instead of the side.

Samsung is expected to offer a new an improved S-Pen stylus with the Galaxy Note 9. The new stylus is expected to offer Bluetooth capabilities and reports suggest that the stylus might offer features like remotely controlling music playback, as well as a long range timer for taking photos. 

In terms of hardware, The Galaxy Note 9 will most likely be powered by the Exynos 9810 SoC, which is the same one used in the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ smartphones. It is also expected to offer 6GB RAM and run Android Oreo 8.1. The phone is tipped to feature a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display and may be powered by a 4000mAh. 

A new poster leak of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 also shows a USB Type-C port and headphone jack on the phone.
