Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime and J5 Prime are now available in 32GB storage variants. The smartphones were initially announced with 16GB of storage in September last year. The 32GB storage variant of the Galaxy J7 Prime is priced at Rs. 16,900, while the 32GB Galaxy J5 Prime is listed at Rs. 14,900. The Galaxy J7 Prime and J5 Prime were initially announced at Rs. 18,790 and Rs. 14,790 respectively. The handsets are available in black and gold colour options from Samsung's online store and other retailers.
Samsung Galaxy J series continues to be the best-selling smartphone series for the company in India. The Galaxy J7 Prime features a 5.5-inch Full HD display, while the J5 Prime offers a smaller 5-inch 720p display. Both handsets are powered by company's octa-core Exynos processor clocked at 1.6GHz and 1.4GHz respectively. The phones come with 3GB RAM and an option for expandable storage up to 256GB.
Both Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime and J5 Prime sport a 13MP rear camera with f/1.9 aperture and an 8MP front camera with f/1.9 aperture. The smartphones are backed by 3300mAh and 2400mAh battery respectively and run Android 6.0 Marshmallow with TouchWiz UI.
