Xiaomi has confirmed that the Xiaomi 17T series will launch globally on May 28. The company described the upcoming lineup as one of its biggest upgrades in the T-series segment. The teaser also confirms that the phones will feature Leica-tuned triple rear cameras, although the exact sensor details are still under wraps.

Xiaomi has also confirmed the India launch by teasing the ‘T’ moniker in a social media post. However, the exact details still remain under wraps.

Xiaomi 17T series design

If the leaked renders are believed to be true, the Xiaomi 17T and Xiaomi 17T Pro will have a flat rear panel with a square-shaped camera island positioned in the top-left corner. The renders also hint at flat edges, physical buttons on the side frame and a premium-looking finish.

Xiaomi 17T and Xiaomi 17T Pro expected specs

Leaks suggest that both the Xiaomi 17T and Xiaomi 17T Pro could feature telephoto cameras with support for up to 5x optical zoom. The Xiaomi 17T Pro is tipped to pack a large 7,000mAh battery, while the standard Xiaomi 17T may offer a slightly smaller 6,500mAh battery.

The Pro model is also expected to feature a 6.83-inch display with up to 144Hz refresh rate support. Meanwhile, the regular Xiaomi 17T could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra chipset.

Pricing leaks suggest that the Xiaomi 17T may start at EUR 749 (around Rs 83,000), while the Xiaomi 17T Pro could reportedly be priced at EUR 999 (roughly Rs 1.11 lakh) in global markets.
