Samsung is launching Galaxy A34 on March 16 and the Galaxy A54 is also rumoured to launch this month. So, both phones have been making rounds on the internet in the form of leaks and rumours. And finally, one of them, ie., the Samsung Galaxy A54 has debuted in the european market. Based on its translated price as well as what we have gathered from a recent report, the A54 could come to India at a starting price of ₹37,999. This is also how much the base variant of the recently out Vivo V27 Pro costs. The Vivo V27 Pro was launched on March 1 along with Vivo V27. So, we decided to compare the two phones based on the details we have.

Samsung Galaxy A54 comes out with a triple camera setup on the back much like the Samsung Galaxy S23. It features a flat display, thin bezels, and a punch-hole cutout. The global variant reveals the volume rockers and power button on the right edge of the phone. It will also feature dual SIM, NFC, OTG, and 3.5mm headphone jacks, according to the global model.
The Vivo V27 Pro has a LED ring light and a triple camera setup on the back just like the Vivo S16 series which was launched only in China. The Vivo V27 Pro comes with a curved display and a colour-changing back panel. The smartphone comes in two colours; Magic Blue, and Noble Black.
Samsung Galaxy A54 features a 6.4-inch AMOLED Full HD display with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. The display supports up to 120Hz refresh rate which can be changed to 60Hz as well.
Vivo V27 Pro features a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and It supports a refresh rate of 120Hz, 10-bit colours and HDR10+ as well.
The Samsung Galaxy A54 is equipped with Samsung’s own Exynos 1380 SoC which could be paired with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. It will reportedly run on the OneUI 5.0 operating system which is based on Android 13. It is backed by a 5000mAh battery with 25-watt fast charging support.
Vivo V27 Pro is powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 8200 chipset paired with 8GB and 12GB RAM. This phone runs on the Android 13-based Funtouch 13 operating system. It comes in three storage options; 8GB 128GB, 8GB 256GB and 12GB 256 GB. This phone comes with a 4600mAh battery with 66-watt fast charging support.
Samsung Galaxy A54 comes with a triple camera setup holding a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 5-megapixel macro lens. On the front, it sports a 32-megapixel selfie shooter.
The Vivo V27 Pro comes with a triple camera setup holding a Sony 50-megapixel IMX766 primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. The phone also sports a 50-megapixel selfie shooter on the front.
Samsung Galaxy A54 is expected to launch in India at a starting price of ₹37,999 and the Vivo V27 Pro also starts at the same price.
